as the screams of children rage above my head
I sit here, at my desk, counting the minutes til I can leave school to go to immigration, and counting the days til I go home. I am finished teaching for the semester. I'm just hanging out skyping and watching Gilmore Girls til Thursday.
The plan for when I go home is something to this effect:
Arrive July 19th in MB, go to Columbia July 29th-3rd or 7thish, go to NOVA/DC Aug 15-22ndish, go to NYC the 22ndish-26thish, then back to MB until my plane departs on Aug 31st to take me back to Korea for round 2.
It's a strange feeling to know that I am going home. I'll be walking right back into a lot of relationships and scenes that have remained unchanged, whereas some aspects will have changed entirely. I only have six weeks. This seems like a long time when spoken but will go by quickly when executed. I look at a calendar and see how it all plays out. I really have just the perfect amount of time to do what I need to. I think it will all work out.
