anyplace i hang my hat is home
my thoughts have been cooped up for far too long, i'm committing to this thing again. for tonight, anyway.
summertime, the livin AINT so easy. this isn't proving to be the lazy summer i was anticipating. when i'm not working, i'm rehearsing. when i'm not rehearsing, i'm homeworking, when i'm not homeworking, i'm sleeping. it's the first time i really have absolutely NO down time. but i'd much rather be busy than not. so for that, i'm grateful.
i got a CAR!!!! FINALLY! no more worrying about rides or my mother being late or my friends not being fast enough. it's a 2 door black 2000 SAAB. it fits me pretty well. i'm not really loving the exterior, it's very european. "batmobile" as holly called it. bitch. and it's got a fin. i can't handle the fin. but it's nice and it's mine and i love it.
work today was pretty interesting. i've been under the influence of many things on the job, but never alcohol. this guy jason offered to make me a pepsi and rum, i obliged. it was pretty stiff, i was b-b-buzzing before i had finished it. i forget how much fun that feeling is, i never really wait to enjoy my buzz when i'm drinking. once i feel it i just keeping throwing them back until i'm face down. ANYCRAP: waiting on people slightly drunk was a hoot, and i was having such a good time with my coworkers, when i realized jason had made the same drink for everyone else! gotta love an entirely drunk waitstaff.
i dont really care to talk about how rehearsals for carousel are going. there's no live orchestra this go around, that really worries me. last show i did with a track was "a way to love". the cast is friendly enough. i've worked with most of them, and i dont hate anyone, so that's a plus! we open a week from friday, come see it! actually... dont.
