Big Brother University

Holy balls. Below is an email sent to all UA students. I am beyond words.

In November 2006, Arizona voters approved Proposition 300, which provides that
university students who are not U.S. citizens or permanent residents, or who
do not have lawful immigration status, are not eligible for in-state tuition
status or financial aid that is funded or subsidized by state monies.

This week (Thursday, March 8), the Arizona Board of Regents will meet to
establish standards for the three state universities to comply with
Proposition 300. Almost certainly, these standards will require many of you
to provide the university with documentation demonstrating that:

1) You are a U.S. citizen; or

2) You are a Legal Resident of the U.S.; or

3) You have lawful immigration status.

After the Regents meet, we will send you another email explaining how you can
demonstrate those things, and the times and places for you to take the
required documents.
