So now that I'm graduating, school is no longer standing in my way of getting a gaming system. My first obvious choice is Playstation2, since it's what most people I know have, and I feel like it probably has the most choice of games. But I was wondering if you guys thought that was a good choice, or if I should wait, or if there's a superior

Part of me wants to say NOOOOO to the PS2 because I hate it, despite the fact that it has some good games. But most of the good ones come out on dual platform anyway. I guess it's true that if you're interested in RPGs, then the PS2 might be the wisest choice, even though the system itself is far inferior to the Xbox. Be careful about modding, because the minute you open the cover, you void the warranty. So if anything goes wrong with the system (which is not unusual), Sony/Microsoft/Nintendo won't help you. Unless you're a hard core gamer, modding's usually not worth it anyway. Good luck :-D
