carrboro elementary
so I was randomly looking at the carrboro elementary website, and i can't believe how many teachers I don't recognize. in fact, there were only a few that I do. mrs. grose is still there, so is mrs. mcfarling. but, most importantly, mrs. cantrell and mr. gilmore (the p.e. teacher) are still there. amazing.
I wonder if mrs. cantrell still tells that story about how when she was a kid she wanted to be short and this short girl wanted to be tall and there's a whole lesson about how the people you envy might envy you, and what you might hate about yourself, everyone else might love. whatta classic tale.
