SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH NUMBER 775
NWS STORM PREDICTION CENTER NORMAN OK
110 PM CDT THU SEP 8 2005

THE NWS STORM PREDICTION CENTER HAS ISSUED A
SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH FOR PORTIONS OF

EASTERN IOWA
NORTHWEST ILLINOIS
NORTHEAST MISSOURI

EFFECTIVE THIS THURSDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING FROM 110 PM UNTIL
700 PM CDT.

HAIL TO 2 INCHES IN DIAMETER...THUNDERSTORM WIND GUSTS TO 70
MPH...AND DANGEROUS LIGHTNING ARE POSSIBLE IN THESE AREAS.

THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH AREA IS APPROXIMATELY ALONG AND 75
STATUTE MILES EITHER SIDE OF A LINE FROM 35 MILES NORTH NORTHWEST
OF OTTUMWA IOWA TO 40 MILES SOUTH SOUTHWEST OF PEORIA ILLINOIS.

BOW ECHOES AND SUPERCELLS ALONG SURGING OUTFLOW BOUNDARY.
