Okay...

So yeah, not much going on today. Work, week 4 of class began, and more fun with the cat. That's about it.

I am trying to see how much it is going to cost to fly to Phoenix for Christmas. Looks like an arm and a leg. I thought maybe I could score a deal on that new Allegiant Air, fly to Vegas, and then pick up a Southwest flight to Phoenix, but no, Allegiant Air's trip alone would cost over $300. So it looks like a road trip to Chicago and then I'll fly Southwest. It's still gonna be close to $300, but it's better than what they'll all try to charge me if I fly out of CR.

That's about all I can think of to write today. Like I said, not too exciting today. It's never too exciting. Anyways, I'm going to try to finish up some reading for class and then maybe I can bust out one of the DQs due on Thursday. w00t!

Until next time, ever onward!

THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF EAST CENTRAL
IOWA...SOUTHEAST IOWA...NORTHWEST ILLINOIS...NORTHEAST MISSOURI...
NORTHEAST IOWA...WEST CENTRAL ILLINOIS AND NORTH CENTRAL
ILLINOIS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

A LARGE AREA OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS OVER CENTRAL AND NORTHERN
IOWA WILL MOVE SOUTHEAST INTO EASTERN IOWA AND NORTHWEST ILLINOIS
THIS MORNING AS THEY DISSIPATE. NO SEVERE WEATHER IS EXPECTED WITH
THESE STORMS. LATER TODAY...ISOLATED STORMS MAY DEVELOP OVER
PORTIONS OF SOUTHEAST IOWA...AS WELL AS ILLINOIS AND NORTHEAST
MISSOURI. IF THESE STORMS FORM...THEY WILL BE VERY SLOW MOVING AND
COULD PRODUCE VERY LOCALIZED HEAVY RAIN.

TONIGHT...A COLD FRONT WILL MOVE INTO NORTHERN IOWA...AND IS
EXPECTED TO TRIGGER ANOTHER ROUND OF THUNDERSTORMS WHICH MAY MOVE
EAST OVER LOCATIONS MAINLY NORTH OF HIGHWAY 34. SEVERE WEATHER MAY
OCCUR OVER NORTHERN IOWA AS THESE STORMS FORM...BUT BY THE TIME THEY
WILL MOVE INTO EASTERN IOWA AND LOCATIONS SOUTHEAST TONIGHT THEY AREA
EXPECTED TO BE BELOW SEVERE LEVELS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY

SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE ON WEDNESDAY AS A COLD FRONT
DROPS INTO THE AREA. THOUGH THE BEST UPPER LEVEL SUPPORT FOR STRONG
OR SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE NORTHWEST OF THE AREA... THERE IS A
CHANCE THAT AN ISOLATED THUNDERSTORM COULD REACH MARGINAL SEVERE
LIMITS. THE BEST CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE NORTH OF
INTERSTATE 80 IN THE AFTERNOON AND EARLY EVENING. GUSTY WINDS...
SMALL HAIL... AND LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN ARE THE PRIMARY THREATS.

THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE AGAIN ON THURSDAY NEAR THE FRONT AS
IT LIFTS NORTHWARD THROUGH THE AREA. UPPER LEVEL SUPPORT WILL BE
MORE FAVORABLE FOR THUNDERSTORMS THAT DO MOVE THROUGH THE AREA TO
BECOME SEVERE. THE LOCATION OF THE GREATEST POTENTIAL FOR
THUNDERSTORMS DEPENDS ON THE LOCATION OF THE SURFACE FRONT... WHICH
IS UNCERTAIN AT THIS TIME.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

SPOTTER ACTIVATION IS NOT ANTICIPATED TODAY OR TONIGHT.
