Well, I got part of my fuckity ass fuck fuck paper done. 5 steps down, 4 to go. The plan is to work on two steps tomorrow, and then do two on Monday and then turn it in. I got a 78 on my quiz, which is good enough for me. So I turned that baby in as well. I just have one more day of participation to complete for this week, then the summary and I'll be ready for next week.
I got a check in the mail from the University of Phoenix today for $1,730.50. It's half of my refund from my student loan. w00t! That baby's going in the bank here real quick-like and then I'm gonna start saying bye bye to my credit card debt.
Now that I have a little bit of extra money, I was thinking about going with NetFlix again. Seeing as I dun have cable, it might be cool to have movies around. I heard the cheapest plan is only $9.99 a month. I might look into it. Anyone on NetFlix, any input on this?
So I'm worried about Chris in the hurricane zone. I really have no idea where he is. If he's in New Orleans or the Gulf Coast or what. I'm sure he is and he will be fine, but I still worry about him. And I'm not sure how long he's going to be gone. This might influence vacation plans. I'm scheduled to go to Atlanta from September 29 through October 3. And the possibility is there that he could still be helping out with hurricane relief at that point in time. Even if that's the case, I'm still going to go to Atlanta. I'm not going to waste my money on those plane tickets, but if he's not there then I'm gonna be pretty confused as to what to do. I'm sure I'll figure that out when it comes down to it, however.
After I get done here I'm going to make a trip down to Petco to go pick up Minou a scratchy post and a collar so I don't trip over her. She loves to follow me but she gets under my feet a lot. Plus, I'm tired of her using my legs and my comforter as scratching posts. She's finally discovered the fun of her toys though. She's been batting around that stuffed mouse for the last couple of days. That's fun to watch.
