The last couple of days have been all right. Friday was pretty boring as all I did was work, of course. Although we did get a little busier because the office in KoP was closed for their rally so we ended up taking their calls. But other than that, nothing too exciting on Friday.
Yesterday was kitty day!! I got up early and met up with Megan to go shopping for kitty stuff. We went to Wal-Mart and I picked out some dishes, a litter box, some toys, and of course food and litter. Then we went to Jesse and Adam's house to pick up Adam so we could go pick up the kitties. We picked them up and took one back to Megan's apartment so that her husband Jamison (who I finally got to meet!) could take it to Lisbon to Megan's friend. Then we took Minou home. She's slowly getting used to things. She knows how to use her litter box and she knows where her food and water is. For a while she was just laying around but towards the end of the evening yesterday she started to explore around a little bit. She's gotten really comfortable in my bed, which is cool, though last night she was kind of annoying me jumping on and off the bed and trying to play with the sheets. Then this morning she scratched my eye. Bad kitty! But she's just a baby and I didn't get too upset with her. Tomorrow she's going to the vet for shots and stuff.
Last night a bunch of us from Yellow Book got together at the Dragon because it was Tawnya's birthday. It was an ok time. I got pretty bored after a while because everyone started talking to a bunch of people I didn't know so I just kinda sat there and watched everything. Then there was a drag show. I'm not really one for drag shows but this one was ok I guess. I'll tell you I like the drag queens at the Dragon better than at Basix. We were there until close. I had an all right time, but I would probably have had a better time if I wasn't so bored. And at the end of the night, Joe kissed me, which kinda weirded me out. Ooh, I did see Chad! It was the first time I've seen him since he got fired last month. It was really good to see him and catch up a little bit. He said he didn't recognize me because of my face pubes. Dork.
After the Dragon, Tawnya, her husband Andy, Janet, and I went to Perkins for breakfast. That was pretty good. And what did we talk about while we were there? Work, of course. I felt bad for Andy because he is the only one that doesn't work for YB so I felt he might have been left out of the conversation but he seemed to be doing ok.
I came home and went to bed at about 3:30 am. I would have gotten up to go to church but Minou was keeping me awake so I slept in. And I remembered at 11:30 that I was supposed to sing for Linda today. Dammit. Oh well, I'll check with her next week.
So that's about all that's been going on. I got my team project thing done so the next couple of days I can relax with school and play with my kitty.
Plans for today include cleaning the house, grocery shopping, and possibly inviting Tonya and Ben over for dinner.
That's all for now folks. Until next time, ever onward!
