I'm so excited. Megan said that we will be able to take the kitties home on Saturday mroning. Which means I will need to get up early on Saturday morning and go shopping for kitty stuff. I need a litter box, litter, food, toys, anything I'm forgetting? I'm also going to call Jesse, Adam, and Kirra's vet to see if I can get her in sometime next week to get shots and to find out all I need to know about proper kitty health. I want to make sure that Minou is taken care of. In case you were wondering, I have had a name picked out for my kitty for a few years. I have always wanted to name my kitty Minou, which is French for, you guessed it, "kitty". I didn't want some drawn out name, just something simple. And since I'm a Frenchy freak, I figured making her name French would be cool. So yeah.
Today marks two years since that horrible car accident in central Phoenix. It feels like longer though. I miss my car from before that accident, but I at least escaped with my life, you know?
Nothing else really going on right now. Plans for tonight after work are to finish my reading and my laundry. I didn't get around to doing it last night because I had no cash. Now I have cash in the form of dubloons, which I need to change into quarters. Then I can change my sheets, which are a couple days overdue.
I really need to stop being a lazy ass. I have my alarm set for 8:15 am yet I manage to sleep in every day until 9:30. This is not good. If I'm going to devote my mornings to schoolwork, I better damn well get my ass out of bed!
Speaking of schoolwork, my academic counselor called today. She sent me an e-mail about the tuition hike. Since I started my classes before they hiked the tuition, I have the opportunity to freeze the tuition at the current rates. But I would be required to give up the week off between each of my classes. I say a big resounding "OH HELL NO" to that. That would be like going to Cornell and not having block breaks. I would go freaking insane. Besides, my financial aid went through and my loans more than cover tuition anyway. I would just not see as big of a refund. (I was approved loans at $18,500 a year and it's only going to cost me $14,752.00 a year in tuition.) So it's not a big deal. I know that I'm going to be hugely in debt with student loans once all is said and done but I'm hopefully going to have my credit card debt taken care of by then (as in, I'm going to apply a lot of the refund I get from my student loans to credit cards to take care of them).
Hmm, I thought I had more to write, but it seems to have slipped my mind. Ah well, I should be working on something anyway. I love wasting work time by updating my journal. At any rate, that's about it for now. Until next time, ever onward!
