Lack of Updates...
I first off want to apologize for the lack of updates. Not only have I been extremely busy, but I ultimately haven't been around the computer (and yes, there are reasons for it and it wasn't my choice). But heres a little update of what is going on in my life as of right now:
-The weekend of Sept. 24 I went to Bardstown to conduct a DECA officer training. It was really fun! Two of the national officers were there, so that was pretty awesome. I also got to hang out with Raven! I love that girl!! And at 11:15pm Friday night, Mr. Colvin (our state advisor) told myself and Ashley we had to have a speech ready for 7:30 the next morning. So I stayed in the girl's (Laura and Ashley) room til around 2:45 that morning! It was SOO much fun! Killing bugs and fighting over who got the top!!
-As some of you may (or may not) know, I was casted in our local college's production of "Little Shop of Horrors"! So I've been going to Ashland (a town about 45 mins from mine) for rehearsals. After this week, I will have to be there EVERY single day until the end of October. It's coming along great though. And for those who are wondering who I am...well I'm a wino, customer #2, Patrick Martin, and Mrs. Luce. Yes, that is correct. Mrs. Luce!!
-Last monday, myself, Keisha, Sarah, Johnny, Jaime, Brittney, Jenna, Brooke, Kathryn, Katie, Patty, and Bessie all went to Applebee's to eat. It was SOOOOO much fun. The only problem was only two people were driving. So in Kathryn's truck/SUV was: Kathryn, Patty, Katie, Johnny and Bessie. In Keisha's Eclipse was Keisha, Jaime, myself, Brittney, Sarah......and Jenna and Brooke in the trunk. Yes, that is correct! In the trunk. So we went to Ashland and ate at Applebee's. Then we went to the mall. While we were there, we went to American Eagle and decided "Lets all model an outfit". So we each (minus Katie, Bessie, Kathryn, and Jaime) picked out an outfit, went to the dressing room, and walked through the store modeling our outfits. Then we made the crazy-stalker worker (long story) take pictures of us! After we left, Brittney and I rode in the trunk and I tride to give directions to get to the college (without looking)! IT was pretty hard, but we made it there.
-I miss all of my JSA friends. (For those who don't remember, JSA was the program that I went to Stanford for this summer). I get to see Alexa and possibly Zach and Kevin when I go to Detroit in November. Erika (from Mass.) said she was comign to stay with me either Spring break or sometime in the summer! AND my friend Isabel (also from Mass.) is coming down in May to be my prom date! So I'm SUPER pumped about seeing all those guys!! Hopefully I can go to Lexington one weekend and hang out with Elyse!!
-Well in the above paragraph I mentioned going to Detroit. On Nov. 19, 20 and 21st I'll be going to Detroit for the Central Region Leadership Conference (DECA). Hopefully I'll get to see Alexa, Zach, and Kevin, along with my friends Nelson and Brandon!! Now if I only I could figure out how I'm getting there.
School sucks! I hate it sooo much!! Thank God for fall break!
