For days it has kept me awake.
I try in vain, writhing about in my bed, to fall asleep.
When I finally do, it haunts my dreams.
I can't escape it.
What do I do?
The only way is to get it off my chest.
I can't hold this in any longer. I have to let this go. This question that has been tormenting me for days.
What if the world was made of horse cookies?
Such a simple question at the first glance, it's meaning and depth are only truly seen when it's 5 am and you can't think straight. Like the holy trinity, in this single question are found so many others. Questions like:
How many horse cookies does it take to get to the tootsie roll center of a tootsie pop?
Would you rather the world be made of horse cookies or Schnauzer Bites?
If you were a horse cookie and you were starving, would you eat yourself?
The question of horse cookies goes so deep, it is impossible to comprehend with a clear mind. What does a jelly bean of death taste like? Does it, because it contains a universe made entirely of horse cookies, taste like a horse cookie? How do we know that these jelly beans of death are the best tasting jelly beans in the world if every one who eats them perishes? Why are these jelly beans of death contained in exploding golf balls used by Ivy to dominate her opponent? And finally, where the HELL did these golf balls and jelly beans come from, and why do you smoke so much crack Travis?
The world may never know the answer to these questions. But one thing is sure. No matter where you go, there will be someone, somewhere who will ask you this one question.
What if the world was made of horse cookies?
