I watched a fair bit of Being Human over the weekend. See, I decided it was well past time to do something with the box full of Babylon 5 CCG cards
nicked_metal gave me about a year and a half ago. So I've spent quite a few hours sorting them, so that they are neatly stored in two folders which can be placed on a shelf instead of a large cardboard box which occupies a large patch of floor somewhere. (Nick, if you've changed your mind and want them back, now's the time to say so - while they are nearly all sorted and before I integrate them with the cards I already had.) Sorting cards occupies hands but very little brain, so I watch TV while I do it.
The upshot of that is that I have now watched all three extant series of Being Human. (The original BBC version, that is, not the American remake.) All of you World of Darkness fans who read my Livejournal (which isn't many, considering how dead LJ is these days, but still probably a significant portion of all the people who read my Livejournal), you should watch this show. World of Darkness (as written, and especially the vampire games) is supposed to be about personal horror, and this show does that right.
When a character begs his best friend to kill him because of what he will eventually do again, that's about as personal and horrific as you can get. That is so rarely seen in WoD roleplaying.
