broken glove
I just noticed something.
My scar from rolling in my car in 2000 has moved a full inch or more southwest across the back of my hand over the last decade. I don't know what I'm supposed to make of that. It makes me feel like the skin on my hands is some kind of ill-fitting glove, stretching unevenly over my meat and bones as the years go on.
Why wouldn't it grow evenly, and still be in roughly the same place? Why am I evolving imperfectly?
