brevity is the something of wit
Redbelt was good, but not great. I am a little tired and can't put my finger on it better than to quote Roger Ebert and that seems sort of weak. I really enjoyed it even when it wasn't working, though, and that's something. The world drew me in even if I couldn't believe in it.
I have reverted to my 90s self. I talk to girls on the internet. I drive for hours to visit Chris. We watch movies, go to Safeway, laugh at stupid shit, have fun. Then I come back and stare at the computer, wishing I could write.
Tomorrow, I have got to get my ass to the studio and be more productive than tonight. This whole day was sort of a failure (but, like Redbelt, at least I made failing a fun and enjoyable experience).
