It's kinda hard to explain to people who aren't in the military, but a Corporal is a non-commissioned officer (NCO), which means I get more pay and authority over anyone E3 and below, and I can wear a sword with my dress blues now. That is probably the coolest part about getting this promotion. Well, at least to me it is.
