Took The ASVAB Today...
Which is the military test to see what kind of jobs you are smart enough to do, and I qualified for everything for the Marines. I'm pretty satisfied with that to say the least. 91st percentile. I could have done a little better if I didn't enter a wrong answer into the computer by accident (doh!).
What sucks though is that I had to wait an hour and a half to take the damn test, because there wasn't enough computers for everyone and I had to wait until the people were done to take mine, so what should have taken 1.5 hours took 3 hrs, not to mention the drive to and from Phoenix. Good thing my recruiter drove me, heh.
So, I'm still unsure of what I am going to do in the Marines exactly, but I was asking my recruiter about being a weapons/ammunition specialist or an EOD (explosive ordnance disposal), and they both sound really fun (Blow shit up, fuck yeah!!!). Then there is Recon of course, which is basically Marines SF, and that's just hardcore shit right there. I will definately have to think about this stuff, but I still have plenty of time to decide.
Good times ahead for sure.
