No, I'm not channeling Whitney.

I came across this speech a few weeks ago and found it quite amazing. Ironically once I found out who Sojourner Truth was I started recognizing her name in my Civ IV games where she is a Great Prophet.

Anyway, here is the speech she gave at the Woman's Convention in Akron, Ohio in 1851. A self educated former slave and she rips apart the arguments of her intellectual "betters" in only a few sentences. Beautiful.
