A quiet day
I needed a rather quiet day to myself so that is what I did today. No one bothered me at all today at work. It was rather nice. I just did some work and went home and there was no aggrevation at all. I went to get my oil changed at lunch. It always makes me a tad nervous when I take my car in because I'm always afraid they'll find something major wrong and it'll put a hole in my wallet. But no such problems so that is good. I ate at that little restaraunt at Bill Collin's while I waited. It's called Wacky Willy's or something like that. I got bacon, eggs, potatoes, toast and a Coke for $4.19. That's the cheapest meal I've had in a long time. It was pretty good too although it's hard to mess up bacon and eggs.
When I got home I did yardwork for about two hours. I cut the grass and trimmed and then I put some grass seed down. I was told this is a good time of year to put down seed. We'll see. I'll put some more down in the spring. Since I got my lawn sprayed I haven't had any weed problems anymore and the grass is pretty green. Now if the few spots where I put seed down can grow in everything will be perfect. It's almost there :)
I hate doing yardwork in the summer when it's hot out but the weather was perfect so I kind of enjoyed being outside. I love this time of year when it starts to cool down. I wish it could stay in the 60-70 degree range all year. Heh maybe I should move to San Francisco.
One thing I love about living out here is that it is dead quiet at night. I can go outside and not hear a sound except for nature sounds.
Oh yeah my neighbor invited me to his Halloween party on Oct 28th while I was out doing my yardwork. They are quite a bit older than me but they are nice. I might have to stop by for awhile.
Well I think I'm going to go lay down and watch TV for a bit before I doze off. Hope everyone is doing well.
