Cold Monday
Man it's been really cold the last few days. Heh I guess we had to get one cold spell in for the winter. This winter hasn't really been that bad though so I don't really mind it getting cold for a few days. Heh that is until I get my heating bill. Ugh.
I actually got a good night's sleep last night which is unusual for a Monday. I fell asleep around 11:50 which is the first time I've fell asleep before midnight in a longgggggggggg time.
Well this weekend wasn't too bad. I didn't do much Friday. But I was kind of tired and needed a night in so I didn't mind. Saturday I went to eat with Amber at Texas Roadhouse and then we went to the casino later that night after the U of L game. Sunday was my mom's birthday. We went to my grandmother's house and then went to eat at Cracker Barrel. It was nice. Of course I got the usual updates on my crazy aunt and cousins out in Colorado. I swear they are a mess. You never know what they'll do next. Supposedly they are going to come and visit for a week in June. That should be interesting.
Other than that not much is going on here. I went to Fuji with Amy Thursday. I also had to go to the eye doctor on Thursday because my prescription expired. What a waste of time and money that was. They spend like 15 minutes looking at my eyes and having me read eyecharts through that one thing and then tell me my vision is the same. Duh. It's been the same the last 10 times I've been there. I found my contacts on the internet for 120 dollars cheaper than they were selling them at the doctor's office. That is crazy. So I bought them there instead. That'll last me a year. Before my prescription expires next Febraury I'm going to load up on contacts so I don't have to go to the doctor for awhile.
That co-op next to me is getting on the nerves with taking my stuff. I was going to look in my SQL book for something and noticed it wasn't there. I asked him if he had it and he said it was in his car. In his car?? What the hell?? You are going to take my stuff somewhere else without asking me?? I think booby traps are in order now dammit.
So has anyone played bocce? They have that new bocce place in that ice rink complex right off Hurtsbourne. I read about it and it looks like it'd be a fun game to try out. I'll have to find some people to play with.
