Well another boring week at work begins. It was nice to get a slow period after the hectic, stressful work that came up leading up to the holidays but now it is just getting boring. Hopefully things will pick up soon. I do have to work nights next week. It's almost like a week off. I come in here around midnight and stay until about 5:00 or 5:30 am. Then I go home and sleep and when I wake up I have all day to do whatever I want. The only thing that sucks about it is when you have to work that Friday night. Oh well. Small price to pay.
I went to my KFC taste test today. Normally they give you two samples to try out and pay you 8 bucks but today it was 4 samples and $30. Woohoo! They have us four boxes of teriyaki chicken. It tasted more like Chinese food than something you'd get at KFC but it was pretty good. I only didn't care for one of the samples. I liked the 30 bucks too. That'll pay for my lunch the rest of the week :) I have some sign up forms if anyone wants to do it as well. Free food and some spare change... can't beat it.
I think I'm going to stop getting on the Mojo forums. It seems now days it's just mostly people bickering back and forth. Ugh who needs it. There was one dude on there who made the comment that there aren't many pretty girls on Mojo. He caught some shit over it. I think there's a lot of cute girls on there myself. But oh well. My guess is that when you are a 5'6" chubby male like this dude was you're better off not making any comments about other people's looks.
Well I finally got my W-2 from work so now I can file my taxes. I might have to do that this weekend. I just use TaxCut to do mine. It's pretty simple. Plus it only costs $19.99 to buy the software as opposed to spending $150-$200 for H&R Block to do it. There are a few places online you can do it for free but I've used TaxCut for a few years and it's really simple so I just stick with that. This will be the first year that I have a whole year's worth of mortage interest to deduct so I'm curious to see how much I'll get back. I'm hoping for something in the $2000-$3000 range.
Well guess I better get back to work. I think I'll see if I can find any training classes to take or anything.
