Stumbled upon Subaru's cover of TOKIO's 'Mr. Travelling Man' today. I like it~
I basically like it when Subaru does covers of other artists or sings alone.
So from TOKIO's cover I went to other Subaru's solos and this is what it turned out to look like:
The second song - 'It's not over yet ~Owarinonai Tabi~' - is seriously fighting for my No.1 favourite JPop song. How said my beloved
mou-kai, 'There's generally something beautiful from music as from global phenomenon in it)' ^^
Flat Five Flowers is a 5-member band with Subaru as a vocalist and other 4 Johnny's (from bands I believe). I did a cut of 'Re' from Shounen Club Premium video. It's darn good~
KinKi Kids Cover is from Shiwake Eito and I have no single idea how it's named 'cause when I was doing a cut of this song, I didn't write the name of the song right away.
I like the atmosphere in 'Greedy'~ If I remember correctly, it contains slightly erotic lyrics. Or the words Subaru uses contains this meaning...
'Pray' is simply beautiful. I'd really like to listen to a studio recorded version of it. With drums, guitar and clear sounding~
btw I found lyrics for 'Greedy' and 'Pray' ->
http://subaru-wind8.livejournal.com/14895.html. Don't really see anything particularly 'erotic' in 'Greedy''s lyrics, but it may be in Japanese.
What's next? 'Desire'! Composed by Yasu and written by Subaru. And they sing it together. Now this one is really erotic! 'I can swallow you' part is just kekeke XD Here's the lyrics ->
http://paaaaan.livejournal.com/57114.html. But I like the song a lot.
Now the songs I've never heard before. 'Fight Man' is really energetic and so as 'SAWER'. The latter is rockish as fuq and was perfomed in 2001 believing file properties. Like, wow.
'Ruwa' is all in blues tints ♪ 'Aishiteru Aoshitenai' is from 1999 (o.O) Pretty impressive. And 'Sayonara' is muffled a bit but is nice nevertheless :)
Too bad there's a ton of songs that don't get released and are perfomed only at lives and we can't listen to them (that is if the concert was not recorded and put on a DVD). Like 'Shock Me vs Devil or Angel' by NEWS or Pi's 'ADAMAS'. T^T
