SUPER POST FOR SUPAFREAKINGGNOVAAAA~
If my past few days can be summarised in a picture, this would be it. Yooo-oshi!
Supernova is like THE anime con for Sydney. It's held in something called the Superdome, which is part of the Sydney Olympic Park, obviously built for the 2000 Olympics. :p
Backstory: I spent 2 days sewing my Ciel costume. Literally two days, I skipped breakfast and lunch, ate dinner as fast as I could and just cut and sewed and hemmed and iron and pinned and died. And of course I looked as pretty as that~ >8D -coughs-
So after much stressing, freaking out, wailing, whinging, help from the best friend and cake-eating (Didn't you know that eating cake is an integral part of dress-making? No? Well, you do now.), I got the damned dress done. The dress has lining and an underskirt, and OMG so many ruffles wth. I think there's something I need to tell you, I have NEVER made a garment before. I mean, I do like wristbands and scarves and simple things, but NEVER A DAMNED BALLGOWN. Not to mention cutting the wig, trying to untangle the pigtails, MAKING THE HAT UGH, and luckily the neck-ruffle was so easy. xD
Actually, I took this picture after the convention, so it's kind of battered and sat on and rolled on and hugged and all that.
I went to bed at 1 am doing the last, finishing touches, and then it was the frantic before convention panic, where we go to someone's house and dress and make up. I did my contacts (ouch) and make up at home, and then just put the base wig on before I anticipated that I'd have to help my friends with costumes and wigs, and wouldn't have enough time- guess what! I was right! xD Shame I couldn't put make up on them, but MY FRIENDS ARE PRETTY ENOUGH NATURALLY. &hearts
Actually, something really funny happened, I had to go to the train station and pick up 2 friends, and obviously I was dressed up in the pink cupcake, so I got these STARES. I also had to walk past my workplace, but I have a feeling they didn't recognise me muahaha.
So this is the gang. With my Sebby in the background, hehe. They... They're the Phoenix Wright gang. I'm joining them as Trucy for the next con, but I can worry about that later. My GOD the line was so long, it went allll the way around the dome, and even though we had tickets we waited for more that 30 mins to get in. I feel extremely smug for the people who didn't pre-buy their tickets.
The Butler and his Bocchan! 8D Hehe, this is my friend Jess, and unfortunately this is kind of the only picture I have with her, argh, it was so hard keeping track of everyone because we all just did different things throughout the day. >.<
Anyways, so we FINALLY GOT IN, I found Yoshi (^ up there), and WALLY WAS NEXT TO YOSHI BUT THEN HE WANDERED OFF WHEN I WAS TAKING A PHOTO and I was like....... OTL I lost Wally. WHERE WALLYYY~ (Waldorf, for the rest of you. >.>)
We rushed over to see Vic Mignogna, OMG I love that guy, he's the voice actor for Ed Elric and Tamaki Suoh, and he's so funny. I'll talk about him a little later though.
I caught up with my beloved Shantell and her friend Rachel, OMG they both looked so awesome. Shantell has such an amazing wardrobe /jealous, and her wig. It was. Amazing. She was wearing Kodona, and like... I don't have words to describe what she was wearing, so just look. AND RACHEL, OMG. She was wearing the most BEAUTIFUL long, skirt, and I was utterly consumed by jealousy again because she's so tall, and I figured out the skirt she was wearing could be a dress on me. -laughs- Thanks for letting me stalk you both, Shantell hehehe. &hearts
This girls. THESE GIRLS WERE LIKE THE CUTEST THINGS EVER. It was really funny, I took a picture with each one of them, and like they kept leaving the flash off and so we just keept~ taking photos, so afterwards I was like, 'Nyahaha! My turn!'. And they saw Shantell's brother, who's really tall, was dressed in a black trench coat and had a mask on, and TWO OF THEM REACHED UP TO HUGHIM AT THE SAME TIME AND HE HAD TO BEND DOWN AND IT WAS LIKE THE MOST ADORABLE THING EVER. I may have squee~d. Wish I took a photo, but I was too busy freaking out. xD
Bayonetta was so hot. *_* I wish I had the guts to pull something off like this, but alas, I have a tumtum. -rubs tummy- And I'm pint-sized, too. >.>

We weren't allowed to take a picture with him, and I was kind of shattered, but like... When I walked up there with Megan, I was like, "So, I was told I shouldn't call you Vic McDerpaderp (watch video!)...", and he LAUGHED and said in his Tamaki voice, "You can call me whatever you want, sweetie", and and and, I... I swooned. -giggles- Anyways, he signed my Ouran manga, and gave us the BIGGEST hugs and I was like... Swoooo~n.

The little Pearl is my friend Ash's sister Shaye, and SHE'S SO ADORABLE. When she hopped in that picture, I was like... THIS IS PERFECT. &hearts I told her I'd make her blue kitty ears, hehe. :3
So, there was that wonderful day. I actually made a new friend, friend of a friend's, he came along with us and pretty much hung out with us the whole day, which is lovely. I get along with people! Hehe. Good feeling. Caity kept saying that I had the eyes of the devil, and I kept swearing to steal everyone's souls with my eyes. xD Omg, I just realised, I have no pictures of my other friend Jess there, ugh, I haven't seen her for like 1/2 a year, too. >.<

I didn't buy much. There just wasn't much, and I've actually just bought a dress, boots and stuff off Bodyline so I didn't really want to spend so much again. Ouran High is the only manga I actually collect (though I do have one Boys Over Flowers vol.), and the cheaper store ran out of Vol. 15. :( I did find an Absolute Boyfriend boxset though, so I'll look for it at a cheaper store. xD
-exhales- So that's it, my adventures as Ciel Phantomhive. I was pretty disappointed there were 3 other Ciels, dressed exactly the same, but I don't think they made their costumes. I think I also need a hoop petticoat next time. I actually was in so much pain after the con, I was wearing these insane heels, and when we needed to go home- I couldn't. I just literally could not walk, even after I took the shoes off. So I had to be carried back to the car, OMG. I felt so incredibly useless and embarrassed. Usually when I'm in pain, I just suck it up, but this time... I really couldn't deal with it. I still feel really bad about it, I owe him something huge.
Back to dressing like a boy, I think. I don't feel really comfortable being so girly, haha.
