Time continues its stately march
Wow what a year it has been so far. As expected, the shit bag that is in the white house is doing a piss poor job, and America continues to be a country of ridicule to the rest of the world. I saw beauty and the beast this weekend, the live action movie, and it was pretty good. As far as life goes though, I'm just....bored. Nothing really excites me anymore, and it seems I go through the motions week after week just trying to get from one weekend to the next. And then when I'm on the weekend I don't do anything. It's tedious, yet boring, and I'm in a rut and not sure how to get out.
The roads are still crap from our snowstorm two months ago, and potholes are all over the place. Supposedly the city can't fix them until it's dry, and we've had almost constant rain everyday with only a single day or two here and there of dry. Spring just started today, and it's hard to tell. Perhaps that's also contributing to my crap mood and rut. To that end, I bought a light box from Amazon, and I'm seeing how that alters my mood. Jury is still out.
In two weekends, Mark and Brandi are going to the beach with me for clam digging, and I'm looking forward to that. We'll see how that goes, and is the most exciting news I have along with my massage next weekend. Hopefully things look up after the weather improves and things start growing again.
We're looking for a new roommate after Matt turned out to be kind of a deadbeat and I hate the process of getting a new one, but I need the money.
And speaking of money, I'm also STILL waiting for the state of Oregon to approve my tax refund, and that's $2000 that I need that's being held. It's in manual review and they're taking forever. Anyways, when I made the next entry, we'll see if things are better.
