(no, no, it's Frannie, this is not the other kind of story),

oh thank god.

and I don't see why you can't write F/V/K with only V&K povs

You don't think that would make it sort of unbalanced?

nope. I think it would work just fine

If Fraser sprouted wings, would that help? [ducks] Sorry, I'm getting crosseyed already and it's only lunchtime!

They should *send* you home when it's over 90 and no AC. I bet you don't even have windows to open.

You people are srsly evil.

I know where there's a fic with Turnbull and tentacles...

Actually, I know TWO such fics. Because Turnbull is clearly an alien. *nods firmly*

Oh, bleck, about the A/C. *makes you iced tea*

not-really-flirting-except-it-totally-is

I'm a big fan of that. Also of unreliable narrators. *has glee*

I think you're OK with two POVs. I'd think.

ICED TEA! *glomps you*

I'd be a bigger fan of unreliable narrators if they'd let me know about it earlier on. *glares* They're unbalancing the story!

Still, I guess that's what "unreliable" is all about, right?

Iced tea is GOOD.

*kicks your narrators a bit* *sends Ten to glare at them*

...I...think you just got Ten a cameo in this story. *is ded*

Also there was NO AIR AGAIN TODAY.

Oh thank goodness.

'Also Fraser does not talk to me at all, so what we have here is a three-person fic with only two points of view. Can you do that?'
I don't see why not. If you really wanted to you could tell it from Dief's POV.

travels_in_time April 25 2008, 01:18:00 UTC
Hee! Dief's POV would be a lot shorter, for sure, as he'd lose interest with all the not-really-flirting-except-yes really quickly.

Dief POV would be great.

They're talking again. Are they talking about donuts? Are they going to give me a donut? Where are their sandwiches? Oooh, look, Frannie. She'll give me a donut. See ya guys...

Sure, you can easily write it from just the Rays POVs. Most of the time it's more fun to just observe Fraser being enigmatic rather than to know his rationalizations up front. His being asked and having to explain later is usually half the fun!

And the description sounds absolutely fab! Can't wait to see it! Post-CoTW, I assume? Divorcing--RayV/Stella?

Most of the time it's more fun to just observe Fraser being enigmatic rather than to know his rationalizations up front.

See, that's kind of what I think. I never mind a F/K or an F/V fic from only the Ray's POV. It just seems like two out of three would be unbalanced, sort of. But Fraser knows, more or less, what he wants; he just doesn't think he can have it. Whereas the Rays don't have a clue what they want, and them figuring it out is 95% of the story.

Yep, post-CotW, and really, the divorcing (RayV/Stella) is a done deal when it starts, but it's an Issue with the Rays.
