Slings & Arrows
I had other things to post about, but I have forgotten all of them because I just watched the first two eps of Slings & Arrows and I am all *SQUEEEEE!!!!!!!111!!!*
Is anybody else watching/thinking about watching this? This is way too good not to share. It's about a brilliant, talented, quite possibly mad actor (Geoffrey Tennant) who returns to the theatre to face the ghosts of his past. I could wish for more Geoffrey, but the supporting cast is brilliant (and, sunbrae, Kate [Katie?] is as cute as a bug and looks just like you!). Then there's the "gravediggers", the two comic relief characters whose job is to observe and comment on what's happening, almost like they're watching a play themselves.
It looks like there's going to be a lot of comedy and a whole lot of tragedy in this, much like the masks on the "stage" in the second show. I'd describe it better, but I'm afraid of giving away important spoilers about the first two eps.*
