Catching up
I am mostly back, although I may be a little scarcer than normal for a while. Doesn't seem to matter, though, as a quick scanthrough seems to show that 95% of the flist is on vacation or moving or otherwise unavailable. Hey, you guys, come back! I need entertainment! And encouragement to stop messing around and get to work on some of those plot bunnies!
I'll be making a vain attempt now to catch up with all the excellent fic that I'm sure you've all been posting behind my back.

Also, this random note:
Was e-mailing Rusty, busily selling her on the merits of "Life on Mars" (which I've still only seen one ep of, so it's the blind leading the blind, really), and started talking about the name "Sam", which led to me pimping out the "Watch" series by Terry Pratchett to her, and talking about those made me want to re-read Night Watch, which is my favorite, again.
And then I go to thinking about the plot of Night Watch, and how much I love it, and suddenly I understand why I loved the first ep of "Life on Mars" so much.
Sam is chasing a cold-blooded killer, has an accident, is knocked out, and wakes up approximately 30 years in the past, where the same killer is at work.
Now, does the previous paragraph refer to "Life on Mars" or Night Watch?
