One last A2A thought* while we're counting down the last hours until THE END, and then I gotta run:
If Sam is still alive somewhere within the Genieverse, I'd like it to be Chris who knows how to contact him. I wouldn't want Sam to have told him anything important; if he wouldn't tell Gene, he definitely wouldn't tell Chris. But he did trust Chris, to a certain extent. He might have given him certain instructions--"If this starts happening, do this."
I don't have any real basis for thinking anything like this would happen. Nor am I holding out any real hope of seeing John Simm again. I just think it'd be neat. Chris is the only one to ever mention Sam, unless Alex goes asking about him. And whenever Alex asks Chris about Sam, Chris is curiously evasive. Like he knows something he's not saying. We know he can keep secrets--we saw that in S2.
