Greatest American Hero is on Netflix Watch Instantly, so I am trying to watch it. (Watch Instantly is a gross, gross misstatement of fact as it pertains to me.) So far I have made it through about half of one episode, and the ep I picked to start with is the one with the "haunted" house. (Maybe it really is haunted. I don't know yet.)
Bill takes Ralph to the hospital with oddly-shaped welts all over his chest and back--they look like burn scars, maybe, I dunno. Bill gives some kind of obviously false story. The doctor (who else has trouble not capitalizing that word? Is it just me?) gives them the stink-eye.
Later, Ralph has to take Bill to the hospital on account of being dead getting whacked on the head by a chandelier. Ralph tries to explain this, and the doctor says he wants to hear it from Bill. Bill has to ask Ralph what happened, which of course sounds like they're trying to agree on their cover story. This gets them another stink-eye.
The doctor finally tells them that he's not sure what they're up to, but he wishes they'd go do it in another neighborhood.
I never realized this when I was watching this show as a kid, but obviously the doctor thinks that they're up to some weird kinky kind of sex stuff. I wonder what else will show up on here that I didn't realize was happening? And I wonder what the doctor would think if he saw Ralph in the suit?
