As much as I hate Facebook (which is really a lot), I wish that LJ had a "like" button that I could click. So when I scroll past posts updating about beautiful babies or end-of-chemo treatments or new jobs or "here are some photos of things I love!", I could click the "like" button.
And that would mean, "I don't have anything specific to say, or what I would say has already been said ten times, but I read your post, and it made me very happy, and I just want you to know that you have brightened my day, so thank you."
