Number one, the toaster was accepted to the show in Vancouver WA. Some of you have seen photos of the toaster. If you haven't, drop me a line and I'll e-mail you a picture. :D :D I'm actually kind of sad that I'm so tired and drugged (girltime yey) that I can't be more ecstatic about it than I am. XD
Number two, my aunt wants to get me a camera for graduation: nice, but not in the quadruple-digit range. The most important use I'd have for it is to take pictures of art for show entries, which means it has to have very good color and detail fidelity and depth of field. However, it doesn't have to have this stuff in conditions that are not staged: show photos use tripods, backdrops, and at least two sources of indirect lighting (like a hunting lamp or other strong lamp aimed at a sheet of foamcore).
I know nothing about cameras except how to use one. Any recommendations?
