"yarn over" has got to be the most mystifying stitch in the world. I have tried it (and even managed it, sort of) in three different patterns, and either time it apparently means something different.
...because yo the way that works for pattern 2 on pattern 1? There are TOO MANY stitches, and going vice versa there AREN'T ENOUGH.
...wtf, man. wtf. Makes me reeeaaally wish I hadn't left my reference book in Ellensburg, because if yo isn't inherently fducked up then the internet is letting me down.
