[Actually posted early morning 5 June local time]
There was a remote running of the Bolder Boulder 10K here are the base. We started at 0600 local. Starting conditions were 28C (82F) 16% RH and winds Variable at 5 mph. We ran through a fair portion of one side of the base starting and finishing on a track in a stadium. This is basically a road race with portions across long stretches of gravel. The finishing conditions were similar to the start: 28C (82F) 23% RH and winds NW at 6 mph.
The best part was a strong PR for the 10K of 55:25, almost 10 minutes better the my time in April for my first 10K. This also matches the pace I ran the 5K in March. I am probably in the best shape I have ever been.
In the interest of complete disclosure, Boulder is at a higher elevation than Denver while Balad is only at 164 feet. I suspect my performance would not have been quite as good in the Bolder Boulder itself.
