Yesterday I was having lunch with some friends and we were talking about cars. One of them said he had an '89 Beretta (not the gun. the car). This floored me. I had the same car and I never met anyone else who had one. We found that we had them at about the same time. The thing about the Beretta was that as cool a car as it was, it was plagued with problems as it aged. We compared and contrasted problems from the air conditioner that spewed black foam at the passenger seat to the tape deck and radio that went out one by one, varying volume as it went, full blast one moment to silence the next, to the super-heavy doors to each problem leading to the imminent demise of the cars. It was the most hysterical conversation I've had in a long time.
You just never know what you have in common with people!
