Today I attended a bridal shower for Wendy in Balboa at at place called Teddy Bears and Tea Cups. It was the most girly-girl place I've ever been to in my life.
Considering that it was a tea party, and since Grace planned it, I should have known it would be very much in the inner-child realm. This place went overboard! The front of the place is a store with books, ribbons, magic wands, tea sets (of course) and other items of a little girl childhood. I had to have a pic of this particular treasure:
Isn't it the greatest trike ever? This is the reason I need a little girl. Better yet, Brian needs to get himself back down here and have a kid so I can do the Auntie Mame things like shopping and tea parties and not be responsible for the hatred when the kid becomes a teenager! Of course, this tricycle is $500, so unless Auntie Mame wins the lotto, we'll have to make some subsitutions.
The tea room was in the back of the store. I walked in to this:
Can a person have too much pink?
I think not! Not when there's pink tea!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
But wait! Check out the rest!
There were hats!
Lotsa hats!
And lest anyone be running for the Pepto-Bismol after all the pink, down the street, this lovely hiefer was waiting for St Patrick's day.
