Tell me why...
Why is it all religious text uses such ambiguous language?
I'll admit it sounds cool, but would it REALLY hurt the Word of (insert your favorite anthropomorphication of a natural and/or spiritual force here) if They talked in plain english?

What part of 'Don't Kill People,' don't you understand? I mean it, really really mean it. Not 'don't kill people unless they deserve it,' or 'don't kill people who look like you." I really really mean 'Don't kill people,' it ruins the dead person's day and isn't good for the killer's Karma either. So, all this killing, Stop it, okay? Okay."
"And by the way, the guy on the television, the one that says he talks to Me regularly, he's just talking to himself. He stopped talking to Me when I told him he was wrong. "
