Am busy writing report cards that are due to be handed out in... *checks time* ... two hours.
And! And! And! Last night we came home to a swimming pool in the kitchen! Jo, L, Kat, the Chibi and mine-self went to a Chinese restaurant on Dalian Rd (good food, better wine). I got home first (I took a taxi to hit the pharmacy before it closed while the others went to DQ), opened the kitchen door in time to let Chico slip by - and he instantly plowed across the floor, soaking wet and miserable as he realized what he'd gotten himself into. Poor kitten. ^^ A pipe burst in the upstairs apartment. The water shorted out the outlets in our kitchen AND to the water heater. So no hot showers and the fridge is in the middle of the kitchen plugged into extension cords leading into the living room.
Thankfully the landlady is going over this morning (L spent the night and is there to let people in).
Oi. This is the 2nd time pipes have burst in my apartment and caused trouble, even when they're not my pipes. >.<;;
