Under the cut are several images I am in the process of putting together for our textbooks. If you can tell me what they are, then I have hope our students will be able to do the same. ^^ I've resized them somewhat so they won't destroy your screen but they are still large images. I got everything, except no.4. What is it? And the breakdancers look a bit like capoeira fighters, because of the blond guy in white uniform, I guess.

I think these new textbooks are going to be so much fun! And no spelling mistakes :)

No4 is supposed to be calligraphy. ;___;

Ah! I get it now. Maybe if you turned the fountain pen 90 degrees to the right, so it appears more natural to the viewer? I mean, make it look as if I hold the pen and write with it.
And maybe make the pen itself a bit longer - all the detail in the tip makes it look like a strange kite right now, honestly.

Or maybe, for the Chinese, a brush would be best? Do these kids even know how western calligraphy is done?

Good points. I'll do a second picture with a brush - doing a comparison would make for better comprehension. :D

I'm afraid I didn't get 4 either. Maybe instead of a fountain pen tip you could draw the whole thing writing a complete word or something?

Um, would 8 be chinese theatre?
