no band is even in the same arena as the Flaming Lips when it comes to the live performance. Last night, of Montreal just bought a place down the block.
they've never been a great live band - mostly because of their reliance on electric drums. and, i don't actually like the new album.
but sweet fucking shit, if you see one show this year, see them on this current tour. it was jaw-dropping.
