Days of Wine and Tomato Cheese Pie

This past weekend was fun and relaxing in an "I have no money to spend" kind of way. PC spent the weekend again. He's been there almost every weekend for the past month and I'm starting to feel bad because he has a bad back. I need to get the sofa bed out of the back office here at work- pronto.

Friday was excessive drinking and hot tubbing at Kirk's. You know I was trashed because I got in the hot tub nekid. I'm still embarrassed about that.

On Saturday I headed over to Bob's for poker... and lost even though I desperately needed the money. I wasn't on my "A-game". It was, however, a lot of fun and hilarity did, indeed, ensue.

Sunday was busy. I did some homework in the morning and then headed off to Anita's place of Zen- Wegman's. Afterward we went to see "In Her Shoes." I loved it and thought it was very true to the spirit and intent of the book EXCEPT the casting of Toni Collette as Rose. She is a brilliant actress but that character is supposed to be a large woman and TC certainly is not. Even when you dress her in turtle necks and baggy clothes she still sounds ridiculous spouting lines about how unhappy she is with her body!

While still drying my eyes from the tear-jerker I headed over to Morris's for the infamous tomato cheese pie, wine, and stimulating conversation with people I love. Robert called F-Dog and it was so nice to hear her voice and know she's doing well in Chile.

This upcoming week is crunch time to get the last of my school work done. I have to write a paper and write my end-of-semester essay. This is definitely doable in a week but I have to focus all my free time on this. I think I'm going to take next semester off and CLEP. It really seems to make the most sense from every angle.
