NPC Staff/Use? N
Purpose? Dwelling place for Miss Molly Carpenter, and a fall out shelter for any innocents she might feel the need to protect.
Description: A two story house, a good dozen rooms, including a couple of secret ones, all of them heavily fortified. Molly has added on to her fathers original work to make the house nicely supernatural resistant.
Who can post there? Whoever Molly lets in.

Private Office ben_constant August 16 2009, 17:59:44 UTC

NPC Staff/Use? Not advised
Purpose? A private sanctuary for Benjamin Linus; it stores within its two rooms a myriad of travel paperwork, emergency supplies, several wardrobe changes, several stacks of money if his contacts screw up on him, and holds books. Lots of books.

Description: Initially, you see only a small, plain room lined with a number of bookshelves containing a variety of topics - from the Merck manual to a copy of Joyce's 'Ulysses.' There are wooden tribal masks hanging from one of the bookshelves.

There is a fine hardwood desk that contains several hidden cubbies in it, and a basic black office lamp atop it. There is a mat atop the desk, occasionally marked with post-it notes covered in a fine shorthand scrawl. Further exploration would reveal that the bookshelf with a mask hides a sliding metal door - within the room beyond are several suits on a rack, another plain metal desk with more mysteries locked inside, and within its walls hides one more secret: a strange stone door...

Jaenelle's Cabin heiressofshadow August 22 2009, 03:05:48 UTC
NPC Staff/Use? N
Purpose? It's where Jaenelle and Karla spend time away from the Keep.
Description: Jaenelle's cabin. The cabin has two bedrooms, a kitchen, living room and bathroom. Located outside the cabin is a Dark Altar. It's how those of the Blood can travel between realms or work on their magic. Jaenelle and Karla work with this altar and it's protected by their magic. The cabin was created by the family for the girls because when the girls wanted to get away and be one with the land, they would sleep out in the open. However, one time this happened, there was a rainstorm and the next day Jaenelle fell ill because of the lack of shelter. Jaenelle agreed that a lean-to could be erected for them... and the males in the family built the cabin.
Who can post there? Jaenelle or Karla

The Master's TARDIS (interior) doyouhearthem August 23 2009, 15:26:52 UTC
NPC Staff/Use? No
Purpose? Research, navigational calculations; general use of the TARDIS computers and database. Though it contains living quarters, the nature of the place makes psychically sensitive individuals far too uncomfortable to stay there for long.
Description: Compared to the Doctor's, the Master's TARDIS is more sleek and mechanized. Metallic support struts seem to rise out of the floor, branching into intricate knotwork that connects to the ceiling ( ... )

Number Twelve Grimmauld Place blackest_malfoy August 26 2009, 22:40:34 UTC
NPC Staff/Use? A house-elf named Kreacher (NPC), but other than that no.
Purpose? Living quarters for Narcissa Malfoy; meeting place for the Order of the Phoenix.
Description: A residence that will in all likelihood appear between whatever two buildings it is placed next to**. The front of the building itself has a pair of plain steps and a rather old front door with a silver knocker in the shape of a twisted serpent. There are no doorknobs, keyholes, or anything else that suggests a person may enter - the door opens only by magic.
Who can post there? Anyone invited in by Narcissa or who would have prior knowledge of the house (and have been told the location by the Secret Keeper - ie - any Order members who might arrive).
Associated Character: blackest_malfoy

**NOTE: Number 12 Grimmauld place will live between two locations to be determined at a later date.

Daniel Faraday's lab at Oxford University findaconstant August 27 2009, 00:54:52 UTC
NPC Staff/Use? N
Purpose? Dan's lab-slash-office is where he spends most of his time, working.
Description: His lab, located in the basement of The Queen's College, is one of the biggest labs on Oxford's campus - it's full of expensive, modern scientific equipment and is sterile and well-organized. No one's really ever allowed inside, since he has all sorts of experiments going on. Attached to the lab is his office, which is a perpetual disaster zone of books and papers and occasionally serves as a study sanctuary for his students. (If anyone ever wants to use this place for a post setting, ping me and I'll try to give you something more in-depth to work with!)
Who can post there? Dan. If anyone else somehow happens to show up, expect to get glared at and shoo'd out.

William's House william_sweet September 12 2009, 05:19:52 UTC
NPC Staff/Use? Y and N - There is a maid in the place who keeps things going and keeps the house clean but she does not speak.
Purpose? This will be William's home, and he may also invite guests to stay.
Description: This is a tidy Victorian home. When William was alive, he lived here with his mother, so the home is modest but well-kept. Downstairs is a sitting room, a study, a small dining room, a kitchen, and the maid's quarters. Upstairs are three bedrooms and a bathroom (the bath and sink are here, hot water provided by the kitchen stove charger. The toilet is in a small outhouse in the back yard). Out back is the outhouse, a garden, a vegetable patch, and a chicken coop.
Who can post there? Default is 'anyone' unless it's a private location.

NPC Staff/Use? Y/N - No - just Dr. Cockroach
Purpose? It's his scientific laboratory.

Who can post there? Only Dr. Cockroach, unless you intend on becoming a test subject.

Uncle Homer's House waitsforwings October 9 2009, 11:26:42 UTC
NPC Staff/Use? No.

Purpose? It's a pretty big mansion, so if you name a function there's probably at least one room in there that'll serve it. But it's a pretty big mansion, so if you want to find that room, you might have to ask someone (i.e. Graham). Its main features are a library accessible from the foyer, suitable for reading or quiet conversation, and a pond out back with a small artificial waterfall.

There are also guest bedrooms out the wazoo, but you'll have to talk to Graham about moving into one. He's liable to pout if he finds them occupied by strangers.

Description: The place looks like somebody took a medieval Japanese castle and very smoothly refitted it into a modern (circa 2300) North American (Canada to be exact) luxury mansion. The reality is more the other way around; the castle look is an affectation and all fortifications are purely decorative. Inside, the architecture is still modeled on the Japanese castle theme, but the rooms are furnished Western-style more often than not. It manages not to look weird ( ... )
