Today I'm rejoicing. It seems as though the ET nurses have found a system that might work for me. It's feeling very solid and stable and no leaks yet. It's a much larger plastic/rubbery wafer that lays flat on my skin so it, in theory, should be flexible enough to move with me and prevent the gaps that the rigid ones always developed. Unlikely that I'll be back on AC200 in December, but possible in January.

An update to Wendy's post. The ET nurse installed one pouch and gave us the fixings for three more. The nurse's install lasted six hours or so. We make an obvious error installing the next one. The third one leaks a bit then stops. It's good overnight. But we only have the one spare. So I head out today to pick up some more spares ( ... )

It's good to hear the "old you" coming back. ok ok the morphine helps too, but I think it's a good sign that you're getting better. Keep up with the recovery stuff :)
