#21 with a #34!!!
Saw my 21st DMB show last night and it rocked! They recently brought back a song named #34 that hadnt been played live since 1993!! And I got to hear it last night!!!!!!!! I felt like I was dreaming and should wake up any time now because I never thought I would hear that song live! It was so beautiful! Dave had his crazy dance legs in full effect last night and seeing him dance the weird way he does just seems to get you more into the show. he pulled out an electric guitar on a couple songs that he usually uses acoustic on and it sounded good, him playing an electric is a very rare thing by the way (kinda like me playing one!) I got to hang out with my friend Bekkah who I dont get to see that often and it was her first time seeing them and she loved them, of coarse! I also hung out with Benson and Melissa for a long time before the show and we watched the opener, O.A.R. together, it was fun getting to chill with them for a while.
So all together it was a great way to close out my summer with DMB, but it makes me sad that I'll most likely have to wait until next summer to see them again, unless they tour in the winter which is rare. BUt its been a fantastic ride and a privilage to say that I've been to see these amazing musicians 21 times and I cant wait for the time when I can say I've seen them 40 times....oh yes....that day will come!
I'm about to go see either the Island or Bad News Bears, not sure which one. I'll probably decide on the way over there. Hope everyone has a great weekend.
