So yesterday I bought The Good Girl and Donnie Darko. That's 2 hours and 20 minutes of Jake. Mmm. I watctched them both last night, although to be honest with ya, I didn't really watch Donnie Darko. I was too busy working on a layout for
Shak. I've been told it's pretty weird, and weird it seemed, or at least what I caught for it. I know that, even if I watch it properly and don't like it, it's great for a bit of Jake-spotting, as he looks very sexy in it.
List of things to do:
Get a job app for Greggs
Get a haircut
Tidy my room
Finish the chem investigation day book and hand it in to Mr. J
Pick up my parcel from the post office
Buy Donnie Darko and The Good Girl
^ That was all the stuff I had to do yesterday. Um, I only did one thing, oops. I doubt I'll be able to do any of it over the weekened, either, because of my lousy job. I have to work all weekened. That should be illegal. I planned to quit on Wednesday, but the boss wasn't in. Oh, shit! On Wednesday, the day of the chem exam, I put on Finding Nemo when I got home about 1pm and I fell asleep. I got woken up by my mum's boyfriend at 5:45pm, 15 minutes before I start work. I also missed one of my favourite episodes of Charmed, or missed setting the VCR, at least. I've been looking forward to it for weeks. Seriously! I check the tv guide weeks ago.
Luckily the manager, Scott, was okay about it, as I was only 15 minutes late anyway. I indavertantly got Kerry caught, though. See, she phoned in sick, when she was really going out for pizza in Glasgow, and as I was on holiday last week, and Kerry was supposed to tell me my shifts, when I was late he wanted to phone her and find out if she had told me my shifts or not. So he phoned her house and her step-dad told Scott she was in Glasgow. (It was a major disconnect, Stephen! Right?) So I was on with Ryan and Ona, which was okay, I suppose. Ryan was actually alright to me for a change. He was working really fast and determined to make it for the 10:30pm bus. I rarely make that bus. We all thought he was going to get laid, or something. He told us it was so he could play a "computer game." Haha, yeah, right!
Ona was late for work, too, by the way. Yet she was allowed to leave at 9:30pm. Why? I don't get it. Ryan then proceeded to leave for the 10:30pm bus, when there was still a hell of a lot of work to do. And who had to do it all? Me! I stood for 30 fucking minutes polishing the cutlery. I had to take the laundry down. I had to do all that other stuff we do before we finish up. Grr. I was only 15 minutes late, for fuck sake. So I finished at 11:30pm, a full two hours after Ona, who was just as late as me.
I need to go get a haircut today, and I hate getting my haircut. But I need to go soon because I'm working tonight. I wish I could just relax and take Donnie Darko screen captures. I'm procrastinating right now, hehe. I should be on my way to the barber's now. Well, I'll finish typing this up and go. It better not take long.
Ugh. Tomorrow will so not be fun. I'll need to get up really early to go meet Marie outside The Witch's Hut. I then have to go straight to work, in the middle of her hair appointment, probably. I don't even know how much it will cost, so I'll have to leave her with x amount of money. I'm starting work at 3pm tomorrow, instead of the usual 6pm, so I know there's a wedding on. And guess who'll be expected to wait until 2:30am to clean the glasses/clear up afterwards? Me and Helen Conway. I gurantee it! Oh, well. At least then I'll have a decent sum of money when I get paid on Thursday. I'll need it if I'm quitting this weekend. I so want to quit, but then there's the money aspect of it. Hopefully I'll get a job quickly. I need to quit working there. I hate it!
