Comfort food appetizers?

For christmas eve my family is doing a 'comfort food' meal. Main dishes will be chili and macaroni and cheese. We'd like some fun sort of comforting or retro appetizers, trashy is fine! On the list already are pigs in a blanket, but do you have any other ideas?
