Comfort food

Jul 01, 2011 13:38

I've just been dumped out of the blue by a close friend/someone I had strong feelings for. I need to drown my sorrows in (preferably sweet) food that doesn't take much effort. What trashy suggestions can you lovely people give?

I mix chex with peanut butter, choc chips and marshmallows, nuke it about 20 seconds, then stir good. Eat before it glues your teeth together.

Diabetes in a bowl (I mean that in the best way).

A big bowl of ice cream paired with some Doritos. Wash it down with a bucket of rum and cokes.

The last part sounds particularly appealing.

Just about any combination of ice cream and boozahol? Well maybe not caramel/butterscotch and mint...

Skip the bowl and put the ice cream in with the rum and cokes

Ice cream + whatever your heart desires.

My old (non ice cream) breakup favorite was strawberries dunked in sugar, paired with sparkling cider or tooth-rottingly sweet wine coolers.

I second the ice cream! I'm pregnant and I've been craving sweets, especially chocolate ice cream and it is soooo satisfying. Treat yourself to some of the good stuff! Right now I have Breyer's triple chocolate milk shake and omg it's heaven. Any ice cream with brownie chunks is even better. And definitely doesn't take much effort at all :D

Insert spoon into nutella. You're welcome.

If only I hadn't already finished the Nutella...

In that case, melt any chocolate you have available in the microwave, add a dash of boozahol of your choice, and eat quickly with a spoon before it solidifies.

Also, eat quik or hot chocolate mix with spoon out of packets. Crunchy and sweet.
