Take about 1/3 lb of breakfast sausage (the kind that comes in a plastic tube). Heat up a small skillet and put in the sausage. Break it up into a mess of little yummies.
Once it's well on the way to being cooked, break a couple of eggs over it. Let them fry there, like sunny-side-up, only on top of sausage. Toss in a bit of water and put a lid on for a few seconds; again, like sunny-side-up.
Lay two slices of American cheese over the eggs. Let it get hot and melty. By now the sausage should be cooked and starting to get a little crispy, and the eggs should have white whites and runny yolks.
Slide a spatula under the eggs-n-cheese-n-sausage (leaving the just-sausage parts around the edges alone) and put them in a bowl. Put the rest of the sausage on top.
