You could do the applesauce with some drained sauerkraut in the garlic ones and it'd probably be pretty good. My mom would always make cinnamon rolls with those. I would maybe try to but cookie dough in them and see what happens, because I'm a fatass. Or pork filling like a wonton-y thing!
