yeah, motherfucker!
so i went into this place called the coffee grinder yesterday, because they had a sign that said they needed a dishwasher. and i said, "mindless labor? please!" but...they didnt have any blank applications. although they did have about fifty already filled in. and the woman i talked to was like, "all these applications that arent even going to get looked at..." but anyway, she called the manager or whatever, who told her to tell me to come back today at 10:00. i thought to myself, if you already have so many applications, why am i waking up early to come in and give you another one?
but i went anyway, and...apparently, i have the job. because im so AWESOME. the woman i talked to was very nice [which is surprising in this town] and i know the girl whos going to be showing me what to do my first couple of days [washing dishes, cutting potatoes, and putting away shipments]. well, i met her once. so technically, i know her. and shes nice. although im pretty positive shes a huge crackhead. but...to each his/her own, right?
i get paid under the table, so the government isnt going to rob me of half of my pay check every week. and i work about seven hours everyday, so, like...ill actually be getting some money. ill be getting paid less per hour than at A&P in new york, but...everything is way cheaper here anyway, so it doesnt really make a difference.
im just so surprised, and kind of confused. like...how come i immediately got the job, when all those other people applied? oh yeah, i forgot, because im AWESOME. im so awesome that i dont even care that i have to be in at 8:00. because...im just so cool. yay me.
