I should do a trip overview thingy for people who didn't see my pics on Facebook. But then I read stuff that blows me away and shows the triviality of it all, and lose my impetus.
terrorgore aka Bridget, I originally knew from the goth scene in Canberra (for those who don't know her). She is living for the next few months in the West Bank, working with the ISM. (The International Solidarity Movement is a Palestinian-led movement committed to resisting the Israeli occupation of Palestinian land using nonviolent, direct-action methods and principles. )
Bridget writes in a fab stream-of-consciousness way and is just fucken hilarious. Anyways, if you're interested in what's going on there, give her lj a read. I particularly heart the entries "Fresh Squeezed Bullshit" and "ride the tiger down river Euphrates", not only for their sarcasm, but for the insight as to the daily/nightly attacks that go on, and the uphill battles the people face there.
And now, back to my usual trivial pursuits...
